Tasty Kaohsiung Zhongshan

The dining experience at this restaurant had its ups and downs. First of all, the drinks are not recommended. Tried two different ones, but neither was satisfying. Surprisingly, the complimentary slushie was much better, with a perfectly balanced sweet and sour taste that was refreshing and helped cleanse the palate. The medium-rare steak had a great texture and was very flavorful. The duck breast had a crispy exterior, with firm and delicious meat. In addition, the staff were very attentive and kindly reminded us about the birthday month promotion, which enhanced the overall dining experience. The food quality was good, but the drinks could use some improvement.

Came here for a special event and was really impressed with the service and how quickly the food came . This restaurant is located on the second floor. They have a set menu where you can select your soups, salads, meats, dessert and drinks. You can also upgrade your portions for the meats. The presentation of the platters where great and the portions felt just about right. You need to make a reservation for larger groups but not sure if they except walk ins. I have two issues, first is I feel the servers are a bit confused when serving your order. Maybe because we’re a large group? But peoples soup where missing or the served the wrong cooked meat. My other issue is their lack of parking, which isn’t their fault but there really isn’t any or enough. We need to park by the other side of the block. Other than that I would recommend you stop by and give them a try.

Very good service and good food. My wife and I got the regular steak and the flank steak and both are a great price

The food is super affordable and nice. I cannot recall the names so I will just describe them. I had a appetizer (prawn and asparagus with a curry mayo sauce), potato salad, seafood soup, bread, steak, ice cream with coffee jelly and a black tea with creme brulee. All these for under 650 NT. Service was excellent as well. The service staff would constantly check back with you if everything was ok and attend to our needs

Amazed at how efficient this place is. The food quality is also good, and being able to make beef wellington at the correct doneness and still ensuring the beef is tender and juicy deserves kudos to the team. This dish is not easy to get right, and some upscale restaurants don't even get them right. The food portion is very generous, and the floor manager does come around to ask if you need more bread. A palatte cleanser was even served before the main.

Excellent value! I'd suggest paying a little extra to get a larger portion of beef. (Note: As to my personal preference, beef was cooked for 3 minutes - if you prefer a more cooked steak, try 5 minutes. If you prefer your steak cooked for 7 minutes, just order chicken and forget having beef.)

We saw great reviews on this western food restaurant and decided to try it since we had too much of Taiwanese street foods. Overall above average steak and excellent service and value.
